Mirror training

After many years of practice our trainers’ observation is that every participant has already suffered several trainings. Accordingly, all have substantial knowledge on a broad range of soft skill matters. Unfortunately it is not a guaranty to applying them in real situations. 

Mirror training provides a superb frame to internalize and apply lexical knowledge; primarily leadership competences. According to the basic concept in the course of many mainly outdoor exercises, games every participants several times takes leader’s role, copes with ‘real life’ leader’s challenges, and receives feedback from colleagues and trainer, using effective feedback models. 

The training is super – intense, incorporating even night exercises.

Exercises always have a stake, – e.g. they have to find the ingredients and equipment of dinner (dinner itself is a ‘project’ with leader).

Applied methods:

Trainer’s input: short theoretical introduction to topics and to closing blocks to boost experience collection.

Leadership exercises, situation practices: exercises with relevance to the topic simulating difficult leadership situations. Participants always receive feedback from pears and trainer. 

Models: we apply Company’s leadership model, or other clear applicable ones, and practical feedback models.

Recording exercises: having a retrospect on what we did is always educational. That’s why we use cameras.

Small group work: processing some topics we work in more involving small groups. Giving everybody opportunity to contribute in learning.

Plenary discussions: with the participation of the whole group it is a good forum for processing some topic or phenomenon such as closing the day, evaluating sales performance.
